So what do you think, and will you be watching Good Morning America tomorrow morning for the announcement?

Denny Duquette is returning to Grey’s Anatomy

August 25th, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

dennyduquette2.jpg

OK, not sure how he will be returning (another dream sequence?) but hottie Denny Duquette, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, will be back at Seattle Grace. You may remember that crazy Izzie cut his LVAT wire to get him his heart, only to have it all backfire on her.

Rumor has it that Izzie is going to have a brain tumor and it is somehow related to this. And it is a guest role, so he wont be staying on permanently or for an extended time :( But hey, at least we get to see him, and hopefully as something better than that previous but cheesy Meredith death dream sequence that we last saw Denny in.

The OC star Benjamin McKenzie joins LAPD pilot

August 25th, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Have you been missing The O.C.? Well Benjamin McKenzie will be returning to the small screen this fall after being cast in the pilot of the new police drama LAPD. He will play a rookie cop in the series.

Already signed onto the series include Michael Cudlitz (he played Big Mike on Lost), as well as 24’s Regina King and Shark’s Kevin Alejandro.

Noah Wyle returning to ER

August 22nd, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Yes, if you are a Noah Wyle fan, you will be pleased to know that he is confirmed to return to ER for the final season. But don’t look for Dr. John Carter to show up until sometime close to the end of the season (I know, I know, we have to wait, and it sucks!)

And there is no word as of yet on how is return will come about or why John will be returning to the E.R., even if it is as a doctor or as simply a visitor. We will keep you posted! Be sure to subscribe to the RSS feed for the latest.

Christina Applegate has double mastectomy in her breast cancer fight

August 20th, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Christina Applegate has confirmed she is now cancer free after she underwent a double mastectomy following her diagnosis of breast cancer.

The 36-year-old, who says she is now cancer free, told ‘Good Morning America’ that she had a genetic risk of developing breast cancer.

Speaking about her feelings after surgery, she said: “Sometimes, you know, I cry. And sometimes I scream. And I get really angry. And I get really upset, you know, into wallowing in self-pity sometimes. And I think it’s all part of the healing.”

Applegate paid tribute to her mother, Nancy Priddy, who survived breast cancer.

We wish her the speediest recovery.

Angela Bassett joins ER as ER’s new chief

August 17th, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Angela Bassett fans will be happy when she joins the cast of ER for the show’s 15th - and final - season. However, she is not joining the cast with the eye of her character on a spin-off series (although, in true Hollywood style, I predict never say never!)

ER returns to the airwaves on September 25th on NBC.

A.J. Cook leaving Criminal Minds

August 14th, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Since A.J. cook is expecting a baby, she will only be around for about the first 8 or so episodes of the new Criminal Mind’s season. She will be replaced by a new female agent, who has not yet been cast (or at least, not announced yet!). There isn’t word if her departure will be permanent or not, though.

What do you think? Would you love to see her come back, or are you happy she’ll be leaving?

Tori Spelling has dropped out of 90210

August 14th, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Not surprisingly, the producers of the revamped Beverly Hills 90210 thought Tori Spelling was only worth about half the $$ per episode as Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty. And the bitch-tastic Tori Spelling has pulled out because of it.

Hmm, let’s see, Tori Spelling has managed to have multiple reality shows surrounding her life (and her multiple husbands) while Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty have both put time in doing REAL acting. So why is it a shocker to dear little Tori?

No loss here!

One Tree Hill’s Michaela McManus joins Law & Order SVU

June 30th, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

One Tree Hill fans will either be cheering or jeering with this news, but Michaela McManus, who plays Lindsey on One Tree Hill, has signed onto Law & Order: SVU as their new assistant DA.

Well, I guess we now know one of the candidates Lucas didn’t invite to Vegas. Michaela McManus (aka One Tree Hill’s Lindsey) is joining the cast of NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as the new assistant district attorney, effective with this fall’s Season 10. McManus will play the ADA assigned to the Special Victims Unit, thus following in the footsteps of predecessors Diane Neal and Stephanie March.

So what does this mean for Lindsey? No word yet, but we’ll keep you posted!

Omarosa will be booted off Celebrity Apprentice tonight, according to her publicist’s leak!

March 6th, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Hope you didn’t have any money riding on tonight’s Celebrity Apprentice… or if you did, you picked Omarosa. Because her publicist leaked the news by sending out a press release saying Omarosa would be on the Today Show tomorrow (Friday). And yep, all ousted Celebrity Apprentice who get fired are featured on the next morning’s episode of the Today Show.

You know her contract had to have a clause in there about not leaking the details… wonder if she’ll pay for her screw up or if she’ll lay the blame on her publicist.

NBC has cancelled Bionic Woman

February 22nd, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Not really a surprise, but NBC has pulled the plug on Bionic Woman.

Although NBC isn’t talking, I’m told by multiple sources that Bionic staffers were informed late last week that the troubled reboot has indeed been canceled. That means no spring relaunch under new show-runner Jason Cahill — which is too bad. Cahill’s a talented guy (see: The Sopranos), and I was anxious to see what he would do with the show. But I guess it wasn’t meant to be.

NBC is obviously cranky about something with the axes falling all around the studio!

Las Vegas cancelled by NBC

February 22nd, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Did you love last Friday’s episode of Las Vegas? Well, I hope so, because that is the series finale… yep, I said SERIES finale. NBC has pulled the plug on the show and will not be renewing the series for a sixth season. Looks like Josh Duhamel will be able to focus his time on being Mr. Fergie!

And about that cliff hanger? No word on any kind of a two-hour TV movie-ish wrap up so fans will be left with that cliffhanger ending after putting in their five seasons worth of viewing into the show.

This sucks. What is it with NBC? They also cancelled Crossing Jordan without allowing them to do a series finale episode either, and I still haven’t forgiven them for that either!

Get ready for more Bachelor rose ceremony drama - make the bachelorettes cry

February 19th, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

You can’t blame ABC for wanting to spice things up for the dismal finale last season which saw Brad flake out and chose neither girl at the end of the show (sheesh!) And while we have a brand new Bachelor - a British hottie this time - Bachelor Matt Grant, ABC is trying top up the notch of drama a bit… by holding the rose ceremonies between midnight at 5am.

Now, I have no idea if this means he will be waking them up in their beds to give them their rose, or if they are going to be making the bachelorettes stay up late enough that they will be either (a) drunk (b) passed out - from alcohol or exhaustion hehe, or (c) first class bitches from sleep deprivation. But looks like we will be getting tears, drama and hopefully some good catfights.

Now, you know Chris will be saying “the most shocking and/or dramatic rose ceremony ever” so let’s hope the Bachelorettes and Bachelor Matthew Grant can live up to our expectations!

Dog the Bounty Hunter starts filming new episodes for A&E

February 19th, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

dogbountyhunter1.jpg

Dog the Bounty Hunter is going back into production! The network has confirmed that she show is coming back, but haven’t announced a premiere date yet. Apparently the filming is set to begin ASAP, and they have already hired people for the production!

There were episodes in production when the whole racial epithet incident hit the media (which you may recall was a private phone call recorded and sold by his son), so we could be seeing new episodes pretty quick. But even despite there being episodes already taped, it is a very good sign that new episodes are going to be filmed starting immediately. I assume that Da Kine bail bonds has continued to run its business despite it not being for television, and they always seem to have colorful characters to nab for our viewing enjoyment.

A network official confirms to TMZ that the show is going back into production, but they’ve not yet set a premiere date. As of now, they’re gearing up — big time — in Hawaii and production will begin ASAP. Makeup artists and camera crews have been hired, and houses and cars have been rented, all for the return of the show.

There is no word on how this affects Tim Chapman, who was in court on lewd behavior charges. But really, as much as fans like Tim, Duane “Dog” Chapman is the star of the show, and while his sidekicks provide entertainment - especially wife Beth - the show can definitely go on without him.

I am pleased to see Dog the Bounty Hunter will be back, and I can’t wait to find out when new episodes will begin airing.

Friday Night Lights might end with a two hour movie

February 17th, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

fridaynightlightscast.jpg

Say it ain’t so! Looks like NBC is considering shelving Friday Night Lights in this post writer’s strike world, and wrapping up the show from its current point with a mere two hour “movie of the week” format. But wait, there is the rumor that the show is being shopped around, which means that Friday Night Lights could end up on some other network instead. And taking a lead from Jericho, there is now a Save Friday Night Lights site.

Hottie Dancing with the Stars guy Maksim Chmerkovskiy won’t be on this season

February 16th, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

maksimchmerkovskiy.jpg

Dancing with the Stars is just around the corner, but Maksim Chmerkovskiy will be stepping this one out. Season Six will be getting underway on March 16th.

“He just needs a break,” an ABC spokesperson tells People. “He is part of the Dancing family, and he will be back” — perhaps for the occasional results show, and quite possibly as part of a Season 7 team.

The problem with bring a reality show star - especially when your claim to fame is as a ballroom dancer - is that when Maks is done his break the fans might not want him back again, or even care if he returns or not. And what if his replacement is better?

NCIS has been renewed for next season - with 28 episodes!

February 16th, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

ncis.jpg

NCIS fans rejoice! The show has been renewed not only for a sixth season, but also with a super long 28 episode run! no word on why the lengthened run (perhaps an extra long final season?) But that means you will be getting six more episodes than the usual tv show run of 22 episodes.

We will keep you posted if we hear why the super long season is, well, super long.
