Tim Chapman’s terroristic threatening charges case goes to court

Monday, January 14th, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Looks like there is more trouble coming for Tim Chapman. First the news broke that he was arrested after he was allegedly viewed performing lewd acts in a shopping mall parking lot. Now the case is going to court as a terroristic threatening charge, not merely something related to his supposed lewd act (he claims he was changing after spilling orange juice on his lap). The indecent exposure case will be coming later.

The security guard who said Chapman tried to run him over took the stand in court Friday. He told the judge he was afraid for his life.

With his hair down and wearing a T-shirt, Dog the Bounty Hunter’s sidekick Tim Chapman sat silent in court. His attorney, Brook Hart did all the talking.

Jason Wessel, 20, is an Ala Moana security guard. He said Chapman tried to hit him with his truck after he told Chapman to get out of his vehicle.

Wessel was checking out reports Chapman was fondling himself in the Bank of Hawaii parking lot.

Wessel said Chapman dove into his back seat when security approached and when told to get out of his truck he sped off just missing the security guard.

Prosecutors said he was aiming at him.

Chapman’s attorney used pictures of tire tracks to try to prove Chapman was just trying to avoid a newspaper stand.

“I think that what you have in front of you the exhibits showing the parallel tracks in the space shows the vehicle went straight ahead and not towards any person including Mr. Wessel,” said Chapman’s attorney Brook Hart.

As for accusations of indecent exposure, Hart said Chapman spilled orange juice on his lap and was just trying to clean himself off with baby wipes.

“He had clean clothes in his back seat because he’s been keeping them there since he recently separated from his wife,” Hart said.

Chapman’s next court date for the terroristic threatening charges is set for Jan. 24. The indecent exposure charges are still pending.

You can also view the court proceedings here in this news video.

Looks like the show Dog the Bounty Hunter won’t be coming back anytime soon. Yes, I know that Dog is the star of the show, as is Beth. But what would Dog the Bounty Hunter be without Tim?

What was Bounty Hunter Tim Chapman doing naked in his truck?

Saturday, January 5th, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Ah, the he said he said drama. Cops say they caught Tim Chapman - sidekick to Duane “Dog” Chapman of Dog the Bounty Hunter fame, naked in his truck performing a lewd act. Chapman’s camp says that he was merely changing clothes after spilling orange juice on himself. But when a security guard asked him to get dressed and get out of the truck, he got dressed but then drove off, driving over a sidewalk and reportedly nearly hitting the guard. And unlucky for Chapman, the security guard recognized him from his time on Bounty Hunter.

No word yet on whether they will charge him, but this is just the latest in events surrounding the Dog the Bounty Hunter show, which was put on hold while A&E sorted out what to do about Duane’s racist comments in a private conversation that his son then sold to National Enquirer.

The video on FlyOceanicAir also needs to another website, Find815.com. And there is a mini video there too! It raises the question if we are going to be learning more of Sonya’s story. And there is an investigative Flash game at the end of the movie on Find815… take a close zoomed in look at the photo. More chapters and investigations will be released. Only the first chapter is available on Find815 of the 5 chapters total.
