Twiggy out and Paulina Porizkova in as America’s Next Top Model judge

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Twiggy is officially leaving America’s Next Top Model, with “scheduling conflicts” being given as the suspicious reason. And in her place is supermodel Paulina Porizkova. Her most recent claim to fame is in the fourth season of Dancing with the Stars, in which she had the distinction of being the first celebrity voted out of the reality show.

Official word from the CW.

We would like to thank Twiggy for her great contributions to the show. Having an icon like Twiggy lend us her considerable expertise has elevated our show to a whole new level. We wish her well in her endeavors and hope to collaborate with her in future cycles of ‘ANTM’ as well as other projects.

Paulina will start judging on the tenth season of the show, alongside Tyra Banks, hottie Nigel Barker and Miss J. Alexander.

Former Bachelor Byron Velvick has chosen Bachelorette Mary Delgado arrested

Saturday, November 24th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

marydelgadosmugshot.jpg

It certainly takes a certain kind of man to call the cops after getting punched by his girlfriend… and when you know it will make national headlines, it makes it even more fun for the rest of us watching the whole thing spin out!

As everyone watched the second Bachelor Golden Couple Byron Velvick and Mary Delgado profess their undying love to each other on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose, things were getting heated up enough between the two that Mary punched Byron and get arrested for domestic battery. Not surprisingly, she was found under the influence of alcohol.

Wonder what this means about the planned wedding next November? And I guess this arrest throws away any chance they had of being featured on a Bachelor wedding episode ala Trista and Ryan!

On the Bachelor, rumor has it Brad chooses Jenni

Monday, November 19th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

There is a ton of speculation over who Brad is choosing to give the final rose to, but most seems to point that the one in the end will be Jenni. A teaser, however, is prompting “A dramatic last-minute decision makes for one of the most shocking finales in Bachelor history.”

The promo video…

And a special sneak peak ABC released of the season finale:

And a longer teaser video from the end of the Women Tell All episode.

Could Brad have asked Jenni to marry him and she turns him down? That would definitely be a first! Who do you pick and who do you think Brad will chose? Comment now!

Spoilers for Lost season 4 for the first eight episodes

Thursday, November 15th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Lost has announced that they have eight episodes written and are finishing filming those eight episodes for the fourth season. The eighth episode ends as a cliffhanger, so it could theoretically end the fourth season if the writer’s strike continues. This means that eight episodes could be all we get this season :(

It is also going to severely impact some of the storylines we have been expecting, but also means some of the characters we were going to see may or may not have made the eighth episode cut. Here is what we know so far.

Both Libby & Michael (Cynthia Watros and Harold Perrineau) made the eighth episode cut. And Ausiello feels they are probably involved in the cliffhanger somehow, which doesn’t surprise me! He also hints that three characters are returning for the Juliet-centric episode 6, with the hidden names of *o*****, **h*n, and **. *r*e*d**. So logical assumption is that it is Goodwin (one of the others that Juliet was getting it on with, who was killed by Ana Lucia), Ethan (surprise, lol) and Mr. Friendly (way too obvious!).

Hawaii blog has some great photos from “Fiji”, where the crew have turned Kewalo Basin into Fiji’s Port of Suva.

Is this Naomi’s freighter? Even though she said the wreckage of Oceanic Flight 815 had been discovered in an ocean trench off Bali, the pilot had said he had turned back and was attempting to reach Fiji when the plane broke up over The Island. Or could it be another ship, and another time? Who ends up in Fiji, and when?

Be sure to visit the blog for the great photos.

Episode seven is Sun/Jin-centric, and the Hawaii Blog was there…

The street scene appears to be the exterior counterpart to the toy store scene they filmed the day before. We see Jin come out the door with, yes, a giant stuffed panda bear. He’s helping his plushy new pal into a taxi cab when a guy speeding past on a blue moped knocks his cell phone out of his hand. As he stoops to pick it up, the taxi cab takes off with someone else inside. Jin runs after the cab, yelling angrily, and to no avail. Cursing, he smashes his phone to bits on the street.

The scene, which may very well add up to less than a minute of footage in Episode 4×07, took all morning to film. But despite the rain delays, shooting wrapped after lunch as scheduled. It was a busy day for the crew, to be sure. Many had to rush off to report to the day’s second shoot: a scene with Sun, Yunjin Kim… at a funeral.

And from the wonderful Kristen at E!:

Episode eight, the last script completed before the strike, shoots today through the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, and then that’s all Damelton wrote. Episode eight includes two new characters, Gus and Noreen. Gus is an “inner-city, unruly character type. He’s a sketchy business owner who preys on human weaknesses [and is] happy to exploit any opportunity he sees.” Noreen is “very tough on the outside, nurturing on the inside. Confronted with something from her past, she defends herself well, despite the emotional toll.”

I wonder how the whole eight episodes with a shortened season four will factor into the overall picture with the Lost team planning 48 episodes over 3 seasons, officially ending in the 2009-2010 season.

Lindsay Lohan in talks to guest star in Ugly Betty

Wednesday, November 14th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Wow, Lindsay Lohan is in post-rehab talks to guest star in several episodes of Ugly Betty. And she stars as a disgraced beauty queen whom Betty finds working as a fast food assistant manager! And of course, do-gooding Betty tries to fix her up with a job at Mode. Isn’t there something just so ironic about the role?

Unfortunately, it is the Writer’s Guild Strike that could put a damper on the whole plan, since the episode has not been fully written at this time.

But still… Lindsay Lohan? Although I must say I thought she was pretty good in Georgia Rules despite all the controversy about Lindsay partying too much then bailing on showing up on the set. But I repeat… Lindsay Lohan?

Cashmere Mafia series premiere delayed due to writer’s strike

Thursday, November 8th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

cashmeremafiacast.jpg

If you have been looking forward to finally getting a look at the new Cashmere Mafia series, you will be waiting even longer. The series premiere was supposed to air November 28th, but it has been “indefinitely delayed” with the excuse being given it is because of the writer’s strike. It will now lose it’s Dancing with the Stars season finale lead-in that it was supposed to get. And it will also lose its edge in the the Cashmere Mafia versus Lipstick Jungle showdown, because the latter isn’t scheduled to premiere until January… but because of the strike, Lipstick Jungle could now end up with the edge by premiering first.

Sneak peeks for this week’s Grey’s Anatomy Physical Attraction… Chemical Reaction episode

Wednesday, November 7th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Here are some sneak peaks for episode 4×07 “Physical Attraction… Chemical Reaction” on Grey’s Anatomy.

I love how Meredith gets caught in the middle of how bad the sex is between George and Izzie, and then Izzie asking Mer if George pecked her too! Love it! Looks like a great episode… and I can’t wait to get to the aftermath of Lexy sleeping with Evil Spawn!

Dog Chapman’s son sold voicemail message to National Enquirer

Tuesday, November 6th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

It has been revealed that it was Duane Chapman’s own son Tucker who sold the voicemail message to National Enquirer, reportedly because he was angry that his father wouldn’t let him work in the bail bonds business. And he pocketed a cool five figures for selling out his dad (some figures quoting $15,000 while others quote $35,000).

The woman who was at the center of the voice mail - Monique Shinnery, refused to accept Dog’s issued apology to her. She has reportedly received death threats after the incident but me thinks she should be more concerned that Tucker will sell her out for cash now too.

I am also wondering if it was illegal for Tucker to sell that tape, because it is illegal to record phone conversations in some states. I would sure like to see any father sue their children for doing the kind of thing Tucker did.

One of Dog’s other children, Christopher, exclusively talked to TMZ about his father, stating that his father is not a racist. View the video here.

Dog the Bounty Hunter is a guilty pleasure of mine, I hope they bring it back!!

Bettina Bell gets dissed by Brad Womack on The Bachelor

Tuesday, November 6th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

bradwomackbachelor.jpg

We are down the final two, and realtor Bettina Bell was the unlucky bachelorette to get cut by Bachelor Brad Womack. She just opened up a bit too late to get to the final two. And like always, Bettina just didn’t see it coming, especially since she took the Fantasy Suite card, along with Jenni and DeAnna. So one has to wonder… is Brad such a ladies man that he slept with all three? Hmmm….

That leaves Jenni Croft (Phoenix Suns dancer) and DeAnna Pappas (realtor) as the final two left…

And don’t forget, The Bachelor: The Women Tell All airs next Monday, November 12th as all the scorned bachelorettes get revenge… er, tell their side of the story. And the finale is set for the following week, November 19th.

victoriabeckhamuglybetty.jpg

Victoria Beckham’s appearance on Ugly Betty will air this Thursday. The episode, A Nice Day for a Posh Wedding, was filmed last month and will air on November 8th. From ABC:

As Wilhelmina prepares for her flamboyant wedding, she quickly realizes that her maid of honor, Victoria Beckham, is stealing all her thunder. Meanwhile, Betty is filled with guilt about her pact with Wilhelmina to keep the latter’s affair a secret and Ignacio prepares for his big day as he is about to become an official U.S. citizen. However, when Betty moves in with Henry the father/daughter relationship is strained.

Gotta love that Wilhelmina picks Victoria so she could have a celeb bridesmaid, then ends up getting upstaged!

Elliot goes blind next week on Law & Order SVU

Tuesday, November 6th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

We knew Elliot would be going blind on Law & Order: SVU this season and now we can tel you when… on next week’s episode “Blinded”, airing November 13th.

At a recent event, Chris Meloni teased the circumstances surrounding Elliot’s injury in, um, rather graphic detail. “A perp attacks me, blindsides me, and it’s when your brain is slapped against your skull, basically bruising the optical nerves,” he said. “I’ve always secretly thought it would be very interesting to play a blind person and keep your visual senses open, yet not tap into them…. I summoned my inner Al Pacino, and I think I’m gonna grab that Emmy this year.”

No word yet on how long his blindness will last, or if it is permanent.

Ousted Dancing with the Stars couple Sabrina Bryan and Mark Ballas dating

Monday, November 5th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Well, we all suspected it and now its confirmed… Sabrina Bryan and Mark Ballas are officially a couple. They were voted off last week’s episode of Dancing with the Stars, in what is said to be the most shocking cut in the franchise history. They were the far ahead favorites to win the fifth season of Dancing with the Stars, so it was a pretty big shock when they were told they were leaving. But at least she got her man!

They’ve been dancing around the speculation for weeks, but now, still reeling from the most shocking cut in the show’s five-season history, “Cheetah Girl” Sabrina Bryan admits that she and her Dancing with the Stars pro partner, Mark Ballas, are dating. “We’re going out tomorrow,” says Bryan, referring to Sunday the 4th. “He’s taking me out for a surprise this weekend and he won’t tell me what it is. He’s joking that it’s our first date because we’ve always hung out, millions of times, millions of dinners. But this is different.”
In an exclusive interview, TV Guide spoke to Bryan on Saturday night, the first full day she was back in Orange County after a blizzard of media appearances in Los Angeles and New York. “People were so angry,” says Bryan, who was both touched and surprised by the strong reaction to her ouster on Tuesday night. There is word on the Internet that there may be protest signs in the audience on Monday night. “For the producers and the talent to come up to us after the show was amazing, because they were so upset. [Judge] Carrie Ann [Inaba] was in tears. And when I saw her at The View a few days later, she was still emotional about it.”

For her part, Bryan has been remarkably self-possessed and gracious about leaving the show. But her true feelings came out two days later when she danced with Ballas again on The View. “That was the first time I actually showed a little more of a vulnerable side and cried because Mark and I did our Cha Cha again (their dance from the first week of competition) and we wanted to do it the same way that we did in the beginning,” says Bryan. “And when it ended, it was so heartbreaking because we knew we weren’t going to get a chance to really show America what we wanted to do in the competition. We had so many amazing ideas for the freestyle! They were just spewing out of us. It was so disappointing.”

It is worth noting that they are claiming the relationship didn’t turn romantic until after they were voted off. Yeah, right!

And although Byran acknowledges that people started talking about them as a couple weeks ago, she says they haven’t gone down that road – until now. “We’ve been so focused on the competition,” says Bryan. “But now that that has died down, we’ll see where it goes. We haven’t had a chance to do any of that [dating] or even talk about it. We didn’t even realize that people would think that about us until they started asking us. Because you get so close to someone, you get so comfortable, that you don’t even see it.”

But the dead giveaway may have been the moment when Bryan called Ballas “Baby” on the air when they said their thank-yous on the dance floor in front of millions. Bryan laughs. “I always call him ‘Baby Marky.’ I absolutely love and adore him.”

Who’s heading to rehab on Desperate Housewives?

Sunday, November 4th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

desperatehousewivescast2.jpg

Ausiello let it spill that someone is headed for rehab on Desperate Housewives… any guesses on who it will be?
