Friday, September 28th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Michael McGrady is guest starring on “The Heart of the Matter” episode on Grey’s Anatomy as Stan Singer. Fans will remember him as Buchalter on the ill-fated Day Break as well as a guest-run on Las Vegas Detective Max Dillon. It is believed he is playing the father to Adam (see episode details on SpoilerFix). Sounds like he qualifies for Father of the Year award!

Blair’s gay dad to appear on Gossip Girl

Friday, September 28th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Looks like Blair’s daddy will be paying a visit. Turns out that her dad, who lives in Paris, is a “Cary Grant charmer with impeccable taste and manners.” And yep, he is living in Paris with his model boyfriend (I can only imagine what he’ll look like!)

No word yet on who has been cast in the role, but we will keep you posted.

Mo’Nique cast on Ugly Betty for guest starring role

Friday, September 28th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Looks like Mo’Nique will be charming the staff of Mode when she appears as a weekend receptionist. And watch out Betty, Mo’Nique has the hots for Henry! She is currently scheduled to appear in one episode, but Ausiello seems to hint that there could be more episodes in her future.

The episode will air in late November or early December.

Another Bachelor Break-up: Charlie O’Connell and Sarah Brice have split

Wednesday, September 26th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

We can add another Bachelor couple to the has-been list, this time Jerry O’Connell’s brother Charlie O’Connell who picked Sarah Brice in the final rose ceremony of his Bachelor run. The split apparently came a few months ago, but of course gets announced a few days after the new season of The Bachelor starts!

“We split a few months ago — it was a clean breakup, nothing out of control,” Sarah told the mag. “I definitely thought I’d spend the rest of my life with him — I think we both did — but there were some things between us that we couldn’t resolve.” Maybe the fact that they met on a TV show?!

Sarah says she’s still “best friends” with the Charlie, who “starred” in “Dude, Where’s My Car?” and added, “We still love each other a lot.”

And in case you were wondering who’ll get the couple’s dog, Lucy, sleep tight. Sarah’s keeping her.

I admit, I watched this run of the Bachelor, and while I love Charlie’s brother, I just thought Charlie was too much of a doofus, who was much more interest in the girl’s, uh, assets, than in anything above the neck.

24 star Kiefer Sutherland arrested on drunk driving charges

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Sheesh, when will y’all learn. But yet another celeb has been popped for a DUI, this time 24’s Kiefer Sutherland. And, as you may recall, Kiefer has a previous drunk driving conviction, which means if he gets convicted on this one too, he will have to serve at least five days in jail minimum. Nothing like some jail time to put yet another crimp in the already controversial new 24 season!

TMZ, of course, has all the nitty gritty.

MZ has learned that “24″ star Kiefer Sutherland was busted on suspicion of DUI in West Hollywood last night, after allegedly blowing more than twice the legal limit of .08. This is the actor’s second DUI in the past five years — he was arrested in 2004. By California law, if he’s convicted, he must serve a mandatory minimum of five days in jail.

Police sources tell TMZ 40-year-old Sutherland was pulled over around 1:35 AM PST on the corner of La Cienega and Beverly. Sutherland was at the FOX Fall Eco-Casino party at Area nightclub earlier that evening. The photo in this story was taken at the event.

Sutherland, who was stopped after making an illegal U-turn, was arrested for misdemeanor DUI and transported to the Hollywood Police station. He was booked at 4:09 AM and released at 5:42 AM on $25,000 bail.

So I wonder how the Fox bosses are appreciating this little bit of 24 publicity! And he is joining a long line of Hollywood celeb’s who have been popped for a DUI lately.

Law & Order SVU spoiler - Stabler is going blind

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

christophermelonisvu.jpg

Wow, considering we know Christopher Meloni just resigned for another two seasons of Law & Order: SVU, this sure brings a twist to the show! According to Ausiello, Elliot Stabler will be injured while in the line of duty, and will subsequently go blind. Yep, you read that right, blind!

I am so curious as to how they will handle it, or it will be one of those all-in-one episodes where he is miraculously cured by the end of the episode. I sure hope not! I think this will definitely explore a new side to Stabler, if it is an ongoing issue with his sight.

Don’t forget, season premiere is tonight at 10pm!

Molly Shannon joins Pushing Daisies for multiple episode arc

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

I love Molly Shannon, especially in Serendipity. So I am pretty happy she is going to be joining Pushing Daisies for a multiple episode arc this season… although for how many multiple means, I don’t know!

Sources confirm to me exclusively that the delightfully kooky ex-SNL cutup will play Dilly Balsam, the owner of a saltwater-taffy emporium that just so happens to set up shop across the street from the Pie Hole. She’s slated to first show up during November sweeps.

The show doesn’t start for another week and a half, but it is on my list of new shows to not to miss. Everything I have heard about it so far is great!

Two new videos for the season premiere of CSI Miami

Monday, September 24th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

This seems to be the first few minutes of the season premiere.

And next, the scene between Horatio and his son.

Am I the only one who found that music particularly haunting in the opening of the episode? And don’t forget we have the full scoop on Tim Speedle’s return! And don’t forget this episode airs tonight at 10pm!

And kudos for CBS adding those videos to YouTube!

Derek loves Meredith more than anything, according to Grey’s Anatomy’s Shonda Rhimes

Monday, September 24th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

meredithderekgreysanatomy.jpg

I swear, this is the kind of post I love to write, and it is coming straight from Shonda Rhimes, via Michael Ausiello.

Well, after Shonda and I completed our little off-the-record Private Practice powwow, she did the unthinkable: She gave me some actual, honest-to-goodness, steaming-hot scoop concerning Grey’s embattled supercouple. “I want to be clear that Derek loves Meredith,” she said as if to put the debate to rest once and for all. “Derek loves Meredith more than anything and I can’t imagine Derek going anyplace else other than Meredith.”

Come on, didn’t you all just sigh when you read that! And since we already know the Derek and Lexie thing is dead and gone, wheee!

Only a few days left til the season premiere… don’t forget we have the video preview of the upcoming season four available too!

Libby returns to Lost in flashbacks in season four

Monday, September 24th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

libbylost.jpg

I had been hearing rumors that Cynthia Watros, who played Libby, would be returning to Lost via flashbacks, and Ausiello has confirmed she will be returning for multiple episodes. And not only will it be someone else’s flashback, but it will fill in the mysterious holes in her own story.

As you will recall, fans also recognized a brunette Libby at the Santa Rose Mental Institute where Hurley was a patient. And she was also the one who gave Desmond the sailboat Elizabeth (Libby’s full first name) that landed him on the island too.

libbylostmentalpatient.jpg

OK, so technically, the ABC hit isn’t bringing Cynthia Watros’ short-lived character back from the dead. But Lost executive producer Carlton Cuse confirms to me exclusively that the actress will be playing Hurley’s dearly departed sweetheart again this season for multiple episodes, presumably in more flashbacks.

“She’ll be in enough of the show for us to fill in the missing pieces of her story,” says Cuse. “We could not be more pleased. Cynthia is a smart and engaging actor, and [executive producer] Damon [Lindelof] and I have some very cool parts of her story left to tell.”

Although I never really liked Libby from the get-go, although I know many of you did, I am excited to hear she is coming back simply to get the missing pieces to her story.

Scoop on Speed’s return to CSI Miami

Monday, September 24th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Sourcecsimiamispeed.jpg

Ever since I heard Rory Cochrane would be returning as Tim Speedle, AKA Speed, we have all been wondering exactly how it would work. Well, now we know! Eric Delko will be the one seeing Speed, and Speed will be a ghost. I am pretty sad to hear that it will only be for two episodes though, I was kind of hoping he was going to be a series regular and they were going to somehow come up with something creative to explain his “death”. But I’ll take what I can get!

Eric Delko (Adam Rodriguez) is going to see dead people — or at least a dead person. As a result of his post-traumatic stress disorder, the CSI: Miami agent will see the ghost of his fallen colleague Tim Speedle (Rory Cochrane), which will, for obvious reasons, send him into a downward spiral. “Delko is doing a good job at masking his trauma,” Rodriguez told TV Guide at the CBS Monday Night Season Premiere party Sept. 19. “But I think [a meltdown] is definitely a possibility.”

And while seeing the ghost is bad for Delko, Cochrane’s return is great for the cast. “I’m happy to have my buddy back,” says Rodriguez, who admitted last July that he was disappointed when Cochrane abruptly quit in 2004. “It wasn’t the world he wanted to live in. He walked away to make himself happy.”

Unfortunately Cochrane’s return is short-lived — he’ll only be on for two episodes. “I feel like he deserves to be here,” says Emily Procter, who plays Calleigh Duquesne. “I wish he hadn’t been killed. Maybe just have gone to prison.”

Don’t forget the show premieres tonight! Source

Orla Brady cast as Shark’s ex-wife in the second season

Wednesday, September 19th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Shark’s ex-wife (who we first saw in the pilot) will be making a return appearance in the second season, although Orla Brady has been cast in the role this time around. Lindsay Frost played the role in the original pilot for the series. Not much more is known about the role other than Brady will appear in several episodes of the show.

Shark returns for season two this Sunday at 10pm.

Kelsey Grammer returns to tv with Patricia Heaton in Back to You

Wednesday, September 19th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Kelsey Grammer, who will be forever known as Frasier Crane, will be back on the small screen with a new FOX television series starring himself and Patricia Heaton.

With the new Fox series “Back to You,” Grammer’s got a brand-new bag as the blusterous Chuck Darling, an anchorman whose big-market career and over-inflated ego take a hit when he winds up back at the struggling station in Pittsburgh where he started.

Of course, there’s one thing about Darling that’s remotely reminiscent of that other baritone-voiced guy — the man who plays him.

“We quite often, on a daily basis, we say, ‘OK, what would Frasier do here, and let’s do the opposite,’ ” says Steven Levitan, series co-creator with fellow “Frasier” alum Christopher Lloyd. “Even though there are going to be a lot of people who still think of him as Frasier, we hope in time that they will see him as Chuck Darling. I know we have.”

Explains Grammer: “Frasier was so complicated, so messed up, whereas Chuck is really a simpleton. He’s not the smartest guy in the world, smart enough to get by, not a bad storyteller, but he’s an egomaniac where Frasier was not.”

The series premieres tonight on FOX at 8pm. I am looking forward to seeing the chemistry between Kelsey Grammer and “Everybody Loves Raymond” alum Patricia Heaton.

Cynthia Nixon guest stars in Law & Order: SVU season premiere

Tuesday, September 18th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Sex and the City’s Cynthia Nixon will guest star on the season premiere of Law & Order: SVU playing a women with multiple personalities… and definitely playing not-so-nice personalities. I can’t wait to see this one, I think she could play a b*tch pretty darn good! And what’s more, she will have a missing child with her, but the personalities are making it hard to figure out what is going on and how the child came to be with her.

Law & Order: SVU season premiere for season 9 starts Tuesday, September 25th at 10pm.

Jay Mohr becomes series regular on Ghost Whisperer

Monday, September 17th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

We will be seeing much more of Professor Payne on the new season of Ghost Whisperer as he becomes a series regular on the “I see dead people show” Ghost Whisperer. Jay Mohr, who joined the cast back in 2006, was featured in many of season two’s episodes, but I think he has just bumped that up to all of season’s three’s episodes, or nearly all of them!

Which estranged couple will be getting it on in Brothers & Sisters

Sunday, September 16th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Sourcebrothersandsisters.jpg

Gotta love sex scenes on television, especially those that take place on a household appliance… I’m guessing washer or dryer! Ausiello has the scoop that one of the estranged couples will be doing the dirty tango in the season premiere. Any guesses on which couple?

Lynette gets a sister on Desperate Housewives

Friday, September 14th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Doesn’t it always seem that television shows bring siblings, unknown children and the kind of parents you are so happy you don’t have in real life! Well, Lynette’s going to be getting a sister, whom Ausiello describes as both elegant and hard-edged. And she’s Lynette’s older sister to boot!

I am curious to know who they will get to play Lynette’s big sis… any guesses on who you think will be perfect for the role?

Greek spoilers for next season!

Thursday, September 13th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Greek has just ended it’s short run with a season finale, and it will be back for Greek season two for all you Zeta Beta lovers. And fortunately for fans, Ausiello has some killer scoop about what is going to be happening around the house next season! And yes, it will be coming back, and you won’t be waiting too long… it is due back at mid-season!

The scandal that enveloped the Zeta Beta house won’t be going away next semester. As a result, the national chapter sends in a bubbly, rule-abiding consultant to whip the girls into shape, and you’re never going to believe who’s been cast: the ridiculously funny Senta Moses from My So-Called Life! She’ll be around for a handful of episodes, beginning with next year’s midseason premiere.

I know many are waiting for Greek’s second season and I can’t wait to see Senta… wasn’t she great in My So-Called Life? Yea!
