Missing seeing Goran Visnjic around the ER? Well, you are in lucky because Ausiello reports that Goran will be returning to ER for (at least) four episodes this season as Dr. Luka Kovac. As you will remember, the season finale of season 13 was the final episode for both Goran Visnjic and Shane West as regular cast members.

Danica McKellar returns to How I Met Your Mother

Thursday, August 30th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Gotta love a girl who flees out the fire escape after waking up in the bed of her one-night-stand. And Danica McKellar will be back again this season after her one-night-stand with Ted during the first season.

Real-life smartypants Danica McKellar’s back in this season’s fourth episode as Ted’s first-season one-night stand — you know, the one who climbed out of his fire escape the morning after. Well, she bumps into him at the bar and apologizes for shagging and running, and then proceeds to set her sights on him anew. But she’ll find herself competing for his affections with an old sorority sister of hers — although “competing” might not be the right word since I hear there’s some serious threesome potential here.

Uh, threesome?

Hmmmm…. thoughts? Well, I suppose pregnancy would be unprecedented!

Role of Naomi being recast on Private Practice

Monday, August 27th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Yet another role on Private Practice is being recast. First it was the character of Naomi being recast when Audra McDonald took over the role from merrin Dungey. And now the role of Naomi’s daughter, Maya, which was played by Shavon Kirksey, is being recast according to Ausiello.

Not sure how this will affect current episodes, since they have been filming, or perhaps Maya played a limited role in those episodes that her scenes could be easily refilmed.

But man, you sure have to wonder what is going on at Private Practice… it is sounding less and less likely that it will be the hit that Shonda, Kate Walsh, and ABC were hoping for.

Major character leaving Scrubs at mid-season

Monday, August 27th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

scrubslogo.jpg

ACK! Ausiello has the scoop that someone from Scrubs will be leaving at the mid-season mark…. and by major he means someone who is currently listed in the opening credits.

Zach Braff has made it well known he wasn’t too eager to return for the seventh season… but he does have that pretty pricey contract that gives him incentive to stick around.

Thoughts?

Monday, August 27th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

uglybetty.jpg

We have some exclusive Ugly Betty scoop! We already knew Betty’s new sandwich boy love interest, played by Freddy Rodriguez, is named Gio… well, we now know his name is actually Giovanni, and that he is going to be appearing in every episode this season except for the season premiere! But Henry, who we knew would be returning in at least some capacity, does not seem to be here for the entire season, but only up through the 8th episode of the second season.

So all you Betty-Henry fans, it isn’t looking good for you!

Grey’s Anatomy’s Mare Winningham guest stars on Boston Legal

Monday, August 27th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Mare Winningham, who most recently appeared on Grey’s Anatomy as Meredith’s stepmother, has joined Boston Legal. She will play a woman who murders the man who murdered her daughter.

Winningham, who had a recurring part on “Grey’s Anatomy” last season, will play a woman who solicits Alan Shore’s (fellow Emmy winner James Spader) advice on how to kill the man who murdered her daughter, but was found not guilty by reason of temporary insanity. No airdate has been set for her appearance.

When Alan refuses to help her, she kills the man anyway, then asks him to represent her at trial.

I was sad to see Mare’s character die on Grey’s Anatomy last season, so am happy to see she will be on Boston Legal, although it is too bad it isn’t for a more permanent character!

Kevin Federline guests on One Tree Hill

Saturday, August 25th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Honestly, I just don’t know what to make of Fed-Ex. But he is once again popping up on the small screen to guest star on the campy teen soap One Tree Hill.

Not only will Fed-Ex reach into his bag of tricks to play Jason, described as the “cocky, enigmatic frontman for No Means Yes,” the show’s fictional leading rock band from Tree Hill, but he’ll do it several times over. Yes, Federline will appear not in one, not in two, but in a “multi-episode arc” for the show.

Federline also appeared in his easily forgettable role on CSI last season (click the link to view his clip).

Dirty Sexy Money is in some trouble as hiatus called

Saturday, August 25th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Dirty Sexy Money seems to be having some problems as the show has shut down production to do some rewriting after the cast finishes filming the fifth episode of the series. But apparently, we have nothing to worry about since Both Grey’s Anatomy and Ugly Betty had similar forced mini-hiatuses in their first season production schedules as well.

The show stars Billy Baldwin, Donald Sutherland and Peter Krause. We will keep you posted.

Colm Feore to play the new first husband on 24

Friday, August 24th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Ah, don’t you just love the sound of “First Husband”! Colm Feore has joined 24 to play Cherry Jones’ husband. As you will recall, Jones will star as the next president on 24… and Jones is a FEMALE president. No word yet on any more details of his character.

I don’t know, but he strikes me more as the head of Secret Service kind of a guy rather than first husband!

Production of the twice-delayed season of 24 will (presumably) begin filming on September 10th.

Janeane Garofalo is 24’s latest cast addition

Thursday, August 23rd, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Janeane Garofalo has signed on to the newly rewritten - and once again delayed - seventh season of 24. She will play Janie Gold, an FBI systems analyst investigating the whole Jack Bauer saga. Garofalo, who was recently on NBC’s final season of West Wing, was also attached to the Law Dogs project on CBS. That show, which also starred the likes of Scott Wolf and Mark-Paul Gosselaar has not (yet) been picked up for the fall season.
