More Sopranos season finale spoilers for Sunday night

Saturday, June 9th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Shawn Wasson has some great spoilers… personally, I think this is how the show will end, with Tony going into the witness protection program after spilling his guts - verbally that is! He doesn’t say the source other than he knows people who know people.

Here you go:

Tony will turn to the Feds and go into the Witness Protection program. He will have another dream and he will wake up knowing for sure this has to end now and he hopes AJ will have a better future etc. etc.

This is how it goes. He considers suicide with the automatic Bobby gave him just after having a terrifying dream and he becomes really depressed. He has a “Godly” moment where it all comes clear to him just before he pulled the trigger. In a flashback we see some moments of him and Paulie among others and he then realises that Paulie is working with Phil and he reckons he is as good as dead anyways. He pulls the trigger but it gets stuck. He turns the gun over and reads “Made in America” and he starts to laugh real real loud.

However, having his life spared by God thrice (shot, car, suicide attempt) the last few years he wants to do the “right thing” and he decides to phone the Feds, he decides to meet them at the other side of the lake (he reckons that it is safe) and he walks outside while he mentions to the other guys he’s going out to get some drinks from the boat. Paulie protests but T gives him “the look” and he walks safely and sound outside.

He phones the Feds again in the boat in the middle of the lake and tell them to take action and they arrest the guys in the building.
He rats out on Phil and the other guys, but no one knows where Phil is.
He goes back to the city and is heavily guarded by Feds tailing him etc. He demands a sit down with Phil in a restaurant. It takes some time for the response but they will have the sit-down at a restaurant at some point.

After some conversation Tony is sweating like hell and Phil suddenly realises what is going on and pulls a gun on him and asks to show the wires. However, all the other people in the restaurant were Feds, so that’s cleared.

Now we see some scenes of him testifying etc.

When he enters the program we see the last scene of him turning up for work with a beard and hair (implants?) shaking hands and saying “Hi, it’s uhhhh, Kevin Finnerty, how ya doing?”. Remember, when he dreamt he was Kevin Finnerty in that coma…well there you go.

And we have more series finale Sopranos spoilers here!

Great scoop on the Sopranos series finale

Friday, June 8th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

We have some great spoilers courtesy of Television Without Pity:

I was at the Holsten’s set back in March when they were filming the final episode. After some persuasion, I got a PA to let me glance at the call sheet for that day. Here’s what the scene entails:

-The scene in the ice cream parlor only contains Tony, Carmela, and AJ. Later, Meadow joins them.

-It says that the family eats onion rings, while AJ recalls some advice that his father once gave him.

-Meanwhile, Meadow attempts to parallel park her car several times (she’s late).

-Nothing about Paulie. I didn’t see Tony Sirico there, but if he was, he was probably just there to visit the set. Frank Vincent also stopped by.

-There’s a scene that’s described in the call sheet where Tony meets Agent Harris at the airport.

-Uncle Pat Blundetto reappears somewhere in the episode.

-Another scene (either from this episode or the previous one - I also looked at the call sheet for “Blue Comet”) includes Dante Greco (Tony’s driver) at Rosalie Aprile’s house.

-AJ gets a new girlfriend named Rhiannon.

Also, I showed up for the Phil Leotardo hit at the Raceway gas station. It was definitely Frank Vincent there (I know some people think it was Phil’s goomar’s father who looks like him, but the actress who plays Leotardo’s wife was also present). Phil gets out of the car, stops by the passenger window, and Benny comes from behind and shoots him. The scene also included four black kids who see the murder, and one of them vomits.

I also showed up at the Baccalieri house when they were filming, the day before the Raceway. The scene was Tony coming up from the deck, with a present in hand, to talk to Janice, who’s sitting on a lawn chair.

Keep reading more in our Sopranos section, we have a ton of spoiler posts from different sources about the series finale episode! Don’t miss any of them!

T.R. Knight signs new Grey’s Anatomy deal for fourth season

Friday, June 8th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

trknight.jpg

T.R. Knight is officially returning to Grey’s Anatomy, as he just signed a new deal for the fourth season of the hit show. There had been grumblings he might not return, especially because both his character and Burke (Isaiah Washington) had storylines that could have easily exited either character. But it is Isaiah Washington who got fired from the show, apparently shortly after T.R. Knight signed his new deal.

E! Online has confirmed that T.R. Knight will be back for a fourth season of Grey’s Anatomy, signing a new contract after an iffy wait-and-see period further perpetuated by his character’s cliffhanger season finale.

But while George may have to repeat a year at Seattle Grace as an intern, Knight will be earning approximately $125,000 per episode, plus a sliver of the show’s total profits, a deal also added to new contracts negotiated earlier this year for the likes of Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey and Sandra Oh.

Knight’s salary roughly equals that of costars Chandra Wilson and Justin Chambers, who, along with Pompeo and her $200,000 per episode, inked new deals in March.

I am so happy to hear this news! And again, I’ll say how happy I am that Isaiah got canned!

Law & Order: Criminal Intent cast might not be back

Friday, June 8th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

chrisnoth.jpg

Looks like some of the cast of the show Law & Order: Criminal Intent aren’t all that keen on signing back on the series without raises. The stars Vincent D’Onofrio, Chris Noth and Kathryn Erbe have only until 5pm to accept the offers to return next season sans raises.

As you recall, Law & Order: Criminal Intent was moved off NBC this year to the USA Network in an attempt to keep the show on the air.

Of course, with Sex and the City movie now reportedly a go, maybe Chris Noth isn’t too anxious to sign anyway.

Hmmm… do you think Cashmere Mafia is looking for a Mr. Big?

Isaiah Washington finally fired from Grey’s Anatomy

Friday, June 8th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

burke.jpg

Yep, you read that right. Grey’s Anatomy has finally gone ahead and fired the homophobic actor Isaiah Washington from the hit show Grey’s Anatomy, becoming the first leading character to exit the show since it premiered three years ago.

ABC has confirmed that the option on his contract has not been picked up. And plotwise, his leaving the show is not hard to explain… after all, he refused to marry Cristina in the season finale and when she returned to their shared apartment discovered he had cleared out all his important possessions.

One insider, who requested anonymity due to the sensitivity of the situation, speculated that the decision was likely due only in part to the T.R. Knight homophobic slur scandal and the subsequent fallout. “There was a pattern of problematic behavior going back before he used the F-word,” says my spy. “I imagine [his dismissal] was the result of all of that.”

Washington’s rep, Howard Bragman, confirmed the news, adding that his client was informed by Grey’s executive producer Shonda Rhimes earlier today that he was not being invited back to the show. In a statement, Washington, referencing the iconic line from Network, said, “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore.” (He’s kidding… I think.)

I just have two words… good riddance.

Rachel Miner cast in Californication with David Duchovny

Friday, June 8th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Rachel Miner - best known as being the former Mrs. Macaulay Culkin - has been cast in a recurring role in the new series Californication. The show, which stars David Duchovny, will air on Showtime, premiering this August.

The new comedy is currently scheduled for twelve half-hour episodes, David Duchovny plays Hank Moody (trust me, I can’t be the only one noticing the Fox Mulder name similarities from his famous X-Files character), a single dad with an obsessive knack for telling the truth.

Elizabeth Reaser likely won’t return on Grey’s Anatomy

Thursday, June 7th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

elizaabethreaser.jpg

For all of those Grey’s Anatomy fans out there, looks like it is doubtful - according to Michael Ausiello - that Elizabeth Reaser will return next season. Elizabeth had a multi-episode arc as the pregnant Ava, who was injured in the ferry boat crash and became close to Alex.

Wouldn’t you just love to finally see Alex get close to someone, now that Addison is leaving for Private Practice? Looks like that final scene where he returns to the hospital to find Ava gone will be how the storyline ends.

CBS brings back Jericho for a second season reprieve

Thursday, June 7th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

jericho.jpg

Jericho fans rejoice… CBS has officially confirmed that Jericho will return for a second season, although a shortened seven episode season which will return mid-season. It took some time to confirm the season as CBS suddenly had to confirm contracts with the show’s stars.

But the return of the show has a twist… CBS is calling on fans to help create a buzz around the show in order to up viewership, which could result in a third season if it does well in the ratings.

“Wow! Over the past few weeks you have put forth an impressive and probably unprecedented display of passion in support of a prime time television series,” CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler said in a letter to “Jericho” boosters.

The letter was released to The Associated Press.

“You got our attention; your emails and collective voice have been heard,” Tassler wrote, and seven episodes have been ordered for midseason 2007-08. “In success, there is the potential for more. But, for there to be more `Jericho,’ we will need more viewers.”

Fans must do their part to rally interest while the network does its job, she said.

CBS is planning a campaign to reintroduce “Jericho,” including rerunning the show on CBS this summer, streaming episodes and clips online and releasing the first season on DVD on Sept. 25. The show’s return date and scheduling has yet to be determined.

It is nice to see that not only did CBS bring back the cancelled show for a second season, but also that they seem committed to ensuring that it brings new fans into the show, particularly during the slower summer viewing season. And you can’t help but wonder if the DVD collection of season one will have extras that will make those Jericho fans go nuts… if not coverage of the whole situation - and the 20,000 pounds of peanuts they dumped at the CBS studios - of the cancellation and return of Jericho.

Jeremy Sisto joins Law & Order as defense attorney

Thursday, June 7th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

jeremysisto.jpg

Jeremy Sisto, of Six Feet Under fame, is joining the cast of Law & Order as a defense attorney, replacing Milena Govich on the show. You may have remembered he was in the season finale of Law & Order in May.

The announcement that Sisto is joining the show comes hot on the heels of Fred Thompson’s announcement that he is leaving Law & Order for a potential presidential run.

Sam Waterston wants to become Law & Order’s DA

Wednesday, June 6th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

waterstonthompsonlo.jpg

Now that Fred Thompson is out of the show because of his presidential aspirations, Sam Waterston wants his character to have a crack at the departed District Attorney Arthur Branch’s job. Waterston’s character is Jack McCoy, who is currently the Executive Assistant District Attorney on the show.

Waterston has been on the show for 13 seasons of Law & Order. But an unnamed source who was not permitted to speak about the situation publicly says that it is a go for Jack McCoy to become the new DA when the series returns midseason. The show had not named a new DA when it went to hiatus.

Katharine McPhee snubbed by American Idol producers

Wednesday, June 6th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

katherinemcphee.jpg

I wasn’t the only one thinking it odd that Katharine McPhee never appeared on the sixth season of American Idol, despite many of her fellow fifth season finalists singing during the results shows throughout the season.

“Katharine called them herself, trying to get on the [finale],” a “source close to the singer” told Us Weekly on Wednesday.

The call was apparently unsuccessful, as McPhee did not appear during last week’s sixth-season Idol finale. Of course, McPhee’s snub probably wouldn’t have been as bad if many of the rest of Idol’s fifth-place finalists hadn’t been featured throughout Idol’s sixth season run.

While McPhee was nowhere to be seen during Idol’s sixth season, seventh-place finisher Kellie Pickler performed “I Wonder,” a single from her debut album “Small Town Girl,” during Idol’s sixth-season Top 16 semifinalists results show and third-place finisher Elliott Yamin performed “Wait for You,” a song from his recently released self-titled debut album, during the sixth-season’s penultimate results show.

Then, during last week’s final set of sixth-season Idol broadcasts, fourth-place fifth-season finisher Chris Daughtry performed “Home” — the ballad that also served as the background music Idol’s sixth-season eliminations — during the last Tuesday’s final sixth-season performance episode and fifth-season champ Taylor Hicks also performed “Heaven Knows,” a track from his self-titled debut album, during Idol’s Wednesday night sixth-season finale.

I would have much rather seen Katharine than Kellie Pickler, although Kellie’s new chest size certainly brought a lot of attention to the show she appeared on. Does this mean Katharine needs to get a boob job if she wants to perform next season on Idol?

Lost will still be filmed in Hawaii

Wednesday, June 6th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

evangelinelilly.jpg

What would Lost be without the great Hawaii backdrop stepping in for their Lost island? Nothing, that’s what! So rest assured that Lost will NOT be leaving the island anytime soon, despite internet rumors to the contrary. Let’s face it, they still need to be showing off Evangeline Lilly wearing next to nothing ;) Okay, so she is making due with a bra and string bikini panties because she is swimsuit-less on the island, but I am guessing the male viewers would start to complain if the resident hottie wasn’t on a Hawaiian beach anymore!

Jericho may be coming back for an 8 episode second season

Tuesday, June 5th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Looks like the fans going nuts about Jericho being cancelled is having more of an effect, especially after CBS comments on the situation last week. Rumors are swirling around that Jericho just might be back for a second season after all. It sounds as though it will be only eight episodes long (hey, eight episodes is better than none!) and would come back as a mid-season replacement program.

We will keep you posted!

How Sopranos actor knew he was going to die

Tuesday, June 5th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

bacalasopranos.jpg

When the show’s creator comes to visit you - when he hasn’t during the course of the six years you have been starring on a hit show - you know your character is in trouble. And that is how Steve Schirripa knew Bobby “Bacala” Baccalieri would die. And while he was hoping that his character would see the finale, he was gunned down - while buying toy trains, no less - just one episode before the series finale.

Just one more episode to go before the series goes off forever. I am still wondering if Tony will spill his guts to the witness protection program, now that would be fitting!

Criminal Minds Shemar Moore picked up for DUI

Tuesday, June 5th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

shemarcriminalminds.jpg

Sheesh, another celebrity is picked up for drunk driving, this time Shemar Moore who plays FBI profiler Derek Morgan on the CBS show Criminal Minds.

Moore, who was released on $5,000 bail, was doing over 65 mph on Santa Monica Boulevard around 1 a.m. Friday when he was stopped by the California Highway Patrol, officers said.

“Mr. Moore displayed signs of alcohol impairment and a DUI investigation was conducted,” according to the CHP arrest report.

Moore was arrested a half hour later and taken to a nearby station where he took a breath test and was later booked.

The bad boy is due back in court on June 26th.

More Beverly Hills 90210 stars might be Dancing with the Stars

Tuesday, June 5th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

torispelling.jpg
Looks like Ian Ziering’s successful run on Dancing with the Stars has the added affect of inspiring fellow former Beverly Hills 90210 cast members to sign on to the hit reality dancing show.

Jason Priestley has reportedly said he has no plans (or at least, so he says!) to join the cast, but Tori Spelling is reportedly in talks with the producers to appear on the next Dancing with the Stars.

The former 90210 star and current co-star of Oxygen’s Tori & Dean: Inn Love has been in discussions with Dancing with the Stars’ producers about appearing as a celebrity contestant in the reality competition series, OK! reported in its May 28 issue.

“It’s one of the best experiences [Ziering’s] ever had,” a “source” told OK! about why Spelling might consider competing on Dancing with the Stars. Ziering and his professional partner Cheryl Burke came in fourth during Dancing with the Stars’ recently concluded fourth season.

Well, I was never a big Tori fan, and I would prefer to see just about any other of the BH 90210 cast members on the show, but you have to admire the fact she has managed to turn reality shows into a career… not to mention her life is just such good tabloid fodder that it makes great reality tv!

Heroes season two will take place four months after the first season finale

Tuesday, June 5th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Whoa! Spoilers have it that when the second season of Heroes kicks off, it will actually be starting four months after what happened in the first season finale. And because of this, fans will be left scratching their heads and wondering what in the world happened during those four months, since it sounds like everything will be in a tail spin.

I caught up with Hayden Panettiere at last Thursday’s Entourage premiere and she revealed that the first episode picks up four months after the finale. “A lot of things happened [during those four months] that people don’t know about,” she teased. “A lot of things changed and people will be like, ‘Whoa!’”
