Cast list for Dancing with the Stars fourth season

Wednesday, February 21st, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

The complete cast for the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars was announced this morning on ABC’s Good Morning America. The fourth season starts March 19th. Here is the complete list of dancers!

  • Heather Mills, now known more for being Paul McCartney’s gold digging ex than anything else she has done

  • Billy Ray Cyrus, Mr. Achy Breaky Heart himself
  • Leeza Gibbons, Extra host
  • Joey Fatone… looks like he did decide to grace us with his presence, unfortunately
  • Laila Ali AKA Muhammad Ali’s daughter
  • Vincent Pastore, AKA the Soprano’s Big Pussy
  • Apolo Anton Ohno, US Olympic speedskater
  • Paulina Porizkova, apparently a supermodel, although today was the first I heard of her
  • Clyde Drexler, basketball Hall of Fame inductee and another token athlete
  • Ian Ziering famous for playing Steve Sanders on Beverly Hills 90210 (which is also recently available on DVD)
  • Shandi Finnessey, former Miss USA

An interesting mix of dancers. Hopefully they will be all getting into shape in preperation for the two hour season premiere!

Heather Mills on Dancing with the Stars

Wednesday, February 21st, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Heather Mills is going to appear on this upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars on ABC. The new season, which starts March 19th, announced their complete cast today.

Here’s a bet there won’t be any Beatles songs on the next “Dancing With the Stars.” ABC announced Wednesday that Paul McCartney’s estranged wife, Heather Mills, will be among the competitors.

Mills will be the first contestant with an artificial limb to compete on the series, which returns for its fourth season March 19. She lost the leg in a motorcycle accident in 1993.

OK, with the whole brouhaha surrounding Heather Mills and her supposed gold digging ways with her divorce from hubby Paul McCartney, you can’t help but wonder if people won’t want to watch the show simply because she’s a contestant. But from her point of view, she needs all the help she can get to make her look more sympathetic in the eyes of fans, because right now, all the sympathies seem to be with him.

Grey’s Anatomy to spin-off Kate Walsh series

Wednesday, February 21st, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

OK, I admit, I was pretty shocked. But Grey’s Anatomy’s Kate Walsh will be leaving the show for her own pilot… but with the same Dr. Addison Montgomery-Shepherd character.

I am not sure how I feel about Addison leaving the show. Sure, we all used to love to hate her, but I can’t imagine Grey’s Anatomy without her. And what about her and Alex? Would he leave too? And would that mean that Alex and Izzie would never get back together in the end, which I expected them to do after the touching scene following Denny’s death? Argh~

Walt Disney Co.’s television network ABC has decided to pursue a spinoff of its popular medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy,” the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.

It will star Dr. Addison Montgomery-Shepherd, the sexy neonatal surgeon played by Kate Walsh, the paper said.

A two-hour pilot of the show, which could add millions in additional advertising revenue, is likely to air in May, the paper said.

I’ll keep you posted as more details come out.

The Apprentice gets bumped back an hour

Monday, February 19th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

apprentice.jpg

NBC has been doing some timeslot rescheduling and The Apprentice has lost its 9pm timeslot, and is being bumped back an hour to 10pm, where viewership generally has a significant decline. This also places The Apprentice across from Brothers & Sisters which has good ratings in that slot.

Getting bumped out of that timeslot is Crossing Jordan.

Could this mean the end of the Apprentice franchise? Donald Trump’s brouhaha with Rosie O’Donnell has done nothing but hurt his ratings (while the View’s ratings increased) so I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the last we see of The Donald, unless it gets revamped sans Mr. Combover.

Crossing Jordan gets timeslot bump yet again from NBC

Monday, February 19th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

crossingjordancast.jpg

OK, what is it with NBC not giving Crossing Jordan a fair shake? The more things like this they pull, the less likely it is looking that next season will be a reality for the drama.

NBC has moved Crossing Jordan in a slot that will see it air directly across from American Idol, which is a death sentence for just about any show that is unlucky enough to be going against the popular reality show. Crossing Jordan will now air on Wednesdays at 9pm. However, Crossing Jordan wins in my DVR!

Michael Jackson won’t make an American Idol appearance

Friday, February 16th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Ok, I admit I like Michael Jackson’s music. And whether he did or didn’t in regards to all those court cases, I couldn’t help but think that American Idol wouldn’t be the best place for the Jacko to pop up on his supposed career comeback. Perhaps American Idol was testing the waters by leaking a possible guest, but the producers have confirmed that Jackson won’t be making an appearance on the show.

Nigel Lythgoe has officially dispelled the rumors on an interview with TVWeek.

Mr. Ross: One of the other things that the fans asked me to bring up, it’s been mentioned in a couple of the sites, is a little excitement building that maybe we’ll have an appearance with a man known for his glove, Mr. Michael Jackson. Anything you can tell us along those lines?
Mr. Lythgoe: No. It’s not true, is what I can say, just not true.

Mr. Ross: So you’re saying we just won’t see him this year, or is that something that’s just up in the air still?
Mr. Lythgoe: No, we won’t be seeing him.

Mr. Ross: Well thank you for putting an end to that.
Mr. Lythgoe: Yeah, I much prefer, rather than teasing anybody with it, that the fact is he will not be on “American Idol.”

Alicia Coppola now a series regular on Jericho

Thursday, February 15th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Alicia Coppola fans can breathe a sigh of relief… she has been bumped up to series regular status on Jericho. She portrays Mimi Clark, the Washington D.C. IRS agent who happened to be in Jericho when the attacks began.

Don’t forget, Jericho returns February 21st at 8pm on CBS.

There will be a wedding on The O.C.’s season finale

Wednesday, February 14th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

theoccast.jpg

Michael Ausiello has confirmed that there will be a wedding on the season finale!

Question: Any more scoop about what the series finale of The O.C. will bring?— Caroline
Ausiello: If Autumn Reeser’s dress-fitting wasn’t enough of a clue, lemme come right out and say there will be a wedding!

Too bad the series is ending… however, I have heard a teeny bit of buzz about a possible spinoff? Anyone able to confirm this?

Sandra Bernhard guest stars on the next Las Vegas

Wednesday, February 14th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

lasvegascast2.jpg

Sandra Bernhard takes Las Vegas by storm when she shows up to guest star on the NBC drama. Sandra Bernhard plays a housekeeper, Margo Poon, to Ed. The episode, titled The Burning Bedouin, airs Friday, February 16, 2007.

When Sam’s long-lost flame awakens from a decades-long coma, Delinda takes on Sam’s duties and hosts her rich client and his three spouses. Complications ensue when Mike falls for one of the client’s wives and a jealous Danny learns of the client’s true intentions. Elsewhere, Ed tries to clean house by replacing his housekeeper (Sandra Bernhard).

I really enjoy Sandra’s dry humor and loved her when she guest starred on Crossing Jordan for a couple of episodes, especially when she was hitting on Bug!

Who’s pregnant and who gets kidnapped on Las Vegas season finale cliffhanger

Tuesday, February 13th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Looks like the season finale of Las Vegas is going to have some good cliffhanger material this time around… which is good news for fans since that means it will be pretty likely that Las Vegas will be back next season too! Ausiello addresses a fan’s question about whether Las Vegas would be back for next season, and he revealed it likely would and some great spoilers for the March 16th season finale cliffhanger.

Producers seem to think it will, since they’re ending the season with a ginormous cliff-hanger. Actually, make that four ginormous cliff-hangers. In addition to a wild shootout, the action-packed hour — which will air March 16 (remember, only 17 episodes this season) — will feature a bombing, a surprise pregnancy, a kidnapping and at least one death.

I had forgotten Las Vegas only got a shortened season this year of only 17 episodes. Any guesses on who is the pregnant one and who knocked her up?

Rashida Jones won’t be back next season on The Office

Tuesday, February 13th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Rashida Jones, who plays Karen on The Office, won’t be back next season. But don’t dispair, it is because Rashida has landed a new pilot, according to Kristin from E!

Looks like that man-stealing ho—er, honey—Karen is taking her claws out of our precious Jim Halpert.

The news broke today that Rashida Jones (The Office’s Karen) has been cast on the new Fox comedy The Rules of Starting Over (alongside Boston Legal’s Craig Bierko), and insiders close to NBC confirm to me that Rashida is not expected to be employed under the roof of The Office after the season finale in May.

Of course, Rashida is talented and loveable and will be sorely missed (her character’s interaction with Phyllis is the stuff that spinoffs are made of), but this is also glorious, squeal-worthy news for us fans of Jim and Pam who are desperately seeking a bona fide Jam couple.

The only hitch? Insiders also tell me that Roy is not out of the picture—and will be making another play for Pam. So, hey, all you producers of new series, have you met David Denman, who plays Roy? He would be an excellent addition to any cast!

Rashida Jones is so good on The Office, she’ll be a loss to the show, but it will definitely be interesting to see how she and Craig Bierko work together on the new pilot.

Tuesday, February 13th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Battlestar Galactica fans will be able to get their game on with an XBox Live Arcade game that fans will be able to download through XBox Live later this year. But fans will already be able to download exclusive gamer pics and theme packs for their account now.

From the press release:

“We’re huge fans of Battlestar Galactica and are thrilled to have the opportunity to create a game inspired by the TV series,” said Ed Zobrist, president of Sierra Online. “NBC Universal is working closely with us so that players will be able immerse themselves in the Battlestar Galactica universe and re-live their favorite missions from the TV series.”

Developed by Australian-based Auran Games, Battlestar Galactica will feature both single- and multi-player modes and allow the player to take part in intense space battles as a pilot for either the humans or Cylon forces. Legendary ships from the television show will be featured as well as missions based on favorite episodes.

There is currently a website for the new arcade game at BSGarcade.com

One Tree Hill Valentine’s episode spoilers for Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers

Monday, February 12th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

One Tree Hill has some pretty hot things going on with their Valentine’s episode which includes a sex tape being discovered… and played for everyone!

First up, from Ausiello: “On Valentine’s Day, Brooke and Peyton are going to try repairing their friendship, but it may be jeopardized when Peyton and Lucas consider taking things to “the next level.”

Then the episode description.

Haley questions Brooke about the stolen calculus test. Meanwhile, Lucas and Peyton’s romance intensifies; and a party Nathan throws at Deb’s house leads to the discovery of a sex tape from his past.

And finally, the video promo:

And I can’t be the only to be pleased that a Valentine’s Day episode is actually airing on Valentine’s Day! And yes, Stephen Coletti will be in this episode too.

CBS & Ghost Whisperer to host online seance… weird or what?

Monday, February 12th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Okay, doesn’t this sound more than a little weird to you? Because it sure does to me… does a real life online seance belong on CBS.com? Apparently they think so since they have brought in renowned medium James Van Praagh to host a streaming seance online for fans… and on Valentine’s Day no less… is this so they can allow fans to contact dead loved ones?

Reconnect with your loved ones this Valentine’s Day with a live CBS.com “Ghost Whisperer Sance” hosted by renowned medium James Van Praagh, on Wednesday, February 14 at 3:00 PM, ET/12:00 PM, PT. Van Praagh, who is a co-executive producer of the hit CBS television drama GHOST WHISPERER, will conduct a one-hour live sance where he will perform readings for the general public via streaming video on CBS.com.

The public will be able to call Van Praagh at 323-CBS-1000 and speak to him personally as he connects with the dead, while others can simultaneously converse in a designated chat room.

I don’t think I have seen a weirder press release since starting SpoilerBuzz! What do you think?

Someone is getting murdered on Jericho… who is it?

Monday, February 12th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

jericho.jpg

Trust Ausiello to get the scoop. He reveals that someone is getting murdered on the show this March or April. Of course, in true Ausiello style, he doesn’t give us any more clues… yet!

It is pretty broad, and while it could be someone inconsequential, I think it has to be someone bigger since he has mentioned it in his Ask Ausiello, which is usually reserved for bigger spoilers.

Any guesses?

Promo for Grey’s Anatomy Drowning on Dry Land

Monday, February 12th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

For some reason, the promo didn’t air everywhere, so here it is. It looks like the little girl (am I the only one who first thought Izzie’s daughter???) tells Derek where Meredith is.

Who does Taylor shoot on The O.C.?

Monday, February 12th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

theoctaylor.jpg

There are only a couple of episodes left before The O.C. finishes its series. But if you thought the big earthquake was the big thing happening during the ending of the series, Ausiello has revealed another surprise… Taylor shoots someone!

Who does Taylor shoot? Well, spoilsport Ausiello won’t tell us who!

Question: With only three episodes of The O.C. left, we deserve some extra juicy scoop!— Audrey
Ausiello: (Spoiler alert) Taylor is going to shoot someone very close to her.

Wow! Any guesses?

Second part of Crossing Jordan & Las Vegas crossover finally airs

Sunday, February 11th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Remember the two part crossover episode that saw Woody & Jordan in Las Vegas then Danny & Delinda in Boston? Well it all got screwed up when Crossing Jordan got bumped from the Friday night schedule (remember Las Vegas & Crossing Jordan used to air back-to-back?) Well, Las Vegas aired their episode when it was scheduled, even though Jordan was still in jail back on Crossing Jordan, but now the second part of the crossover that was airing on Crossing Jordan is finally set to air tonight!

The episode is titled Crazy Little Thing Called Love.

Josh Duhamel and Molly Sims guest star as their “Las Vegas” characters, Danny McCoy and Delinda Deline, whose Boston vacation turns into a crime-busting mission when they help Jordan and Woody investigate the murder of a boxing champ. Meanwhile, Bug works on the case of a woman who was found in the Charles River—and had been there since the 1980s. And a pregnant Lily returns to work and reveals the identity of the baby’s father.

Now, is it just me, or don’t we already know who the father of Lily’s baby is? Or did she and Bug get it on behind the scenes without any of us knowing? I doubt it, so I don’t know why it is an issue that she is announcing who fathered her baby.

I still can remember Danny and Jordan in their pajama scene when he was commenting on her rubber ducky jammies when he arrived at her door late on night. And with the title of the episode, wonder if Jordan will be getting lucky with anyone… Danny? Woody? Well, we can always hope, she deserves some happiness after the whole J.D. fiasco.
