Monday, November 13th, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Need some action figures to keep your Star Wars ones company? Well, Toys R Us is carrying a brand new line of action figures based on the characters from Lost.

The Lost Series 1 line, hitting shelves nationwide on Monday, features collectible figures of some of the show’s most popular characters: Jack, Kate, Locke, Charlie, Shannon and Hurley. The collection also includes the pièce de résistance, a hatch playset. The geek-cool detailed diorama depicts the closing moments of season one’s finale, complete with “light-up feature.”

How cool is that?

But where is Sawyer? Apparently he is still in the pipeline, along with Sayid and Jon.

Justice is pulled from FOX effective immediately

Monday, November 13th, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

justice.jpg

No such luck for Justice getting the opportunity to at least run the first 13 episodes of this Victor Garber series. FOX has pulled this series from the air effective immediately.

The dismissal comes after the Victor Garber vehicle failed to gain traction in two different slots — its original Wednesday 9 p.m. berth and, most recently, Monday at 9 p.m., following “Prison Break.”

In its airing last week, “Justice” averaged 5.9 million viewers, holding on to just half of the “Prison Break” lead-in.

No word if the remaining episodes will be available for download on FOX.com, which has become a popular option for dead series this fall.

Ray Liotta’s crime drama Smith lives on in cyberspace

Friday, November 10th, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Ray Liotta’s cancelled series Smith will live on in cyberspace, thanks to episodes being made available online so fans can watch all seven taped episodes at their convenience.

CBS will air the four remaining original episodes of the canceled Ray Liotta crime drama “Smith” on its Innertube broadband outlet.

The network streamed the show’s first three episodes for a week each after their initial broadcasts. Those will be rerun, allowing viewers to see all seven episodes in their entirety. The show’s writers will provide a synopsis on CBS.com of how producers planned to resolve the serialized drama.

Also, the show’s producer, Warner Bros. Television, is making all episodes of the show, which delves into the world of high-stakes robberies, available via digital download this month, along with AOL, Amazon and Apple’s iTunes Store.

“Smith” also stars Virginia Madsen, Simon Baker, Amy Smart and Jonny Lee Miller.

Fans will remember this series was the first series to be canceled this season from any network.

Studio 60 hangs on by its fingernails for a full season pickup

Thursday, November 9th, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

studio60.jpg

Somehow, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, also known as the series that refuses to die, has somehow managed to pull off a pickup for the entire first season. However, it decides a major part of the decision was the fact Warner Brothers dropped their licensing fee for the back 9 episodes.

After days of speculation, NBC has ordered a full season’s worth of episodes for “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip,” the critically praised drama whose poor ratings placed it on the brink of cancellation.

Sources said NBC will pay the show’s producer, Warner Bros. Television, a lower license fee for the nine additional episodes than they negotiated for the initial 13 episodes, which was said to be in the range of $2.5 million-$3 million per episode.

NBC and Warner Bros. TV declined comment. “Studio 60,” from “West Wing” mastermind Aaron Sorkin, is set behind the scenes of a late-night sketch comedy show. It stars Matthew Perry, Bradley Whitford and Amanda Peet.

Airing behind the breakout new hit of the season, “Heroes,” “Studio 60″ got off to a promising start, but the ratings quickly fell. This week, the series averaged 7.7 million viewers overall and finished third in the hour.

No word yet if Studio 60 will remain at one of its two former time slots, or if NBC will try the series at yet another time slot to see if it can find its best spot in the timeslot lineup.

Steve-O of Jackass fame guest starring on The O.C. with promo!

Sunday, November 5th, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

You either love Steve-O or you hate him. But he is pretty much always entertaining. And he will be guest starring on the November 9th episode of The O.C.

And even better, we have the promo!

Lost Spoilers for “I Do”, Kate and Sawyer have sex!

Saturday, November 4th, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Kristin from E! comes through with the juiciest spoilers for a single episode yet this season.

You knew it was going to happen - Kate and Sawyer are going to do it! And all this in an episode that sees Kate getting married in a flashback.

I had forgotten about the glass eye that was found last season, so bets are on it belongs to Mr. Eye Patch.

Ben’s pants are on fire! And I’m guessing Juliet’s are, too. That seemingly untrustworthy she-devil obviously seems to be a part of a bigger plan by Ben to get Jack to trust someone, but Jules at least was telling the truth when she said this: Ben is a liar, and a dangerous man. We’ve known this from the first day we laid eyes on the artist then known as Henry Gale, when his captor, Rousseau, warned, “Know this. He will lie. A long time. He will lie.” Nutty Frenchy-poo wasn’t so nutty after all, was she?

Speaking of Nutty Frenchy-poo, we will begin to see more of her daughter, Alex, next week, who will have a substantial role this season, and slowly, the revelation of why The Others have abducted so many children. Gaa! And speaking of…

Crazy theory of the week: If Juliet and some of the other Others really do want to kill Ben, why haven’t they just done it? Well, what if that little girl we were supposed to see in Jack’s room in the season premiere (the one ABC had a photo of on the media site) is Juliet’s daughter? Is Ben somehow holding her, and other children, hostage (a la Walt) as a way to keep the parents under his creepy little thumb? Discuss in the comments below!

Patchy McPatchalot (a k a the Sleestak) seen in the hatch video is not someone we have met, nor heard of before. But we may have already seen a part of him! Don’t forget that last season, the Tailies found a glass eye. Coinkindink? I think not! It’s also safe to assume that Patch is at the Flame station, given that the others are taken or destroyed, and the Arrow and the Staff didn’t have computer equipment (at least that we’ve seen).

Coming up: Kate and Sawyer do it! Sorry, but if you Jaters had any doubt on whom Kate will “choose,” I think the promo of next week of Sawyer and Kate ripping each other’s clothing off should give it all away. Come to momma. I’ll hold you.

Also, Jack does operate but I wouldn’t worry about Ben going anywhere (Michael Emmerson is a series regular) and Locke picks up Eko’s cross–and spiritual journey– while a certain TV diva vows to wear black for the rest of the season to mourn her beloved SexAAA loss.

And after this episode, we are stuck waiting 3 months for anything new :(

Neil Patrick Harris announces he is gay

Friday, November 3rd, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com
neilpatrickharris.jpg
How I Met Your Mother start Neil Patrick Harris has exclusively told People Magazine that he is gay. Apparently there had been speculation about his sexual orientation and rumors that he had denied being gay. But he has announced that this was false and he is in fact gay.

This announcement is hot on the tails of another television star announcing he was gay. T.R. Knight of the hit Grey’s Anatomy came out after rumors spawned from Isaiah Washington’s homophobic outburst on the set.

Neil Patrick Harris stars in the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother. He is perhaps best known as the 16 year old star of Doogie Howser, M.D. that began its run in 1989.

“The public eye has always been kind to me, and until recently I have been able to live a pretty normal life. Now it seems there is speculation and interest in my private life and relationships.

“So, rather than ignore those who choose to publish their opinions without actually talking to me, I am happy to dispel any rumors or misconceptions and am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest and feel most fortunate to be working with wonderful people in the business I love.”

I am not sure what prompted the speculation in this case that resulted in Neil feeling he had to come out of the closet, although PerezHilton has recently been on a campaign outting closet gay actors who have chosen to remain in the closet for whatever reason and has been targeting Neil Patrick Harris over the past few days.

Rob Lowe getting back into politics… on Brothers & Sisters

Friday, November 3rd, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

After doing politics on The West Wing, Rob Lowe has signed on with Brothers & Sisters to play, surprise surprise, a politician!

Hottie Rob Lowe will be playing a Republican US Senator who is running for re-election while going through a nasty divorce in California. He will make an appearance on Kitty’s (Calista Flockheart) political TV show, and apparently the sparks will fly.

This role was written exclusively for Lowe by executive producer Jon Robin Baitz, who wrote an episode of The West Wing during Lowe’s tenure on the series. He is currently signed on as a recurring guest role, appearing in six episodes as Kitty’s love interest, but producers are hoping Lowe might be convinced to sign on permanently.

Be still my heart.

Stanley Tucci’s 3 Lbs gets series premiere date from CBS

Friday, November 3rd, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

The Stanley Tucci led show 3 Lbs (I still don’t get the name) now has a series premiere date. As suspected, the new series will take the slot of the cancelled series Smith, airing Tuesdays at 10pm. The first episode airs November 14th.

The new CBS medical drama, which appears to be a cross of just about every medical drama currently on the air, stars Stanley Tucci, Mark Feuerstein, Indira Varma, Tamara Taylor, & Armando Riesco.

I am still not sure about this one, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if it fares any better than Smith did.

Eddie Izzard quits 24, David Hunt takes his place

Thursday, November 2nd, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Rumors abound after Eddie Izzard abruptly quit the hit series 24 after only one day of taping. There has been plenty of speculation, but Izzard claims it is simply because 24 wanted him to sign on for possible additional episodes later in the season, and he declined due to conflicts with his upconing Minnie Driver series The Riches.

David Hunt, the husband of ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’s’ Patricia Heaton, has now been brought on board for the role of the villian.

It is an interesting decision for someone to voluntarily leave a juicy role on 24, I hope it works out for him.

Kidnapped is officially cancelled

Thursday, November 2nd, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

There has been a lot of talk about Kidnapped being pulled from the schedule due to its low ratings. There was some hope since the producers had been told to wrap up the mystery of the kidnapping within the 13 episodes ordered.

NBC has now officially pulled the blog on the series, although fans (all 3 of you) will be able to catch the final unaired 8 episodes of the series online at NBC.com. Fans should keep an eye on the Kidnapped website for updates as to when the episodes will be available.

Calleigh’s undercover bad boy cop set to return on CSI Miami

Thursday, November 2nd, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

We met Calleigh’s former love-interest-turned-bad-boy on the hot episode “Going Under” when Calleigh (Emily Procter) was run off the road. Now Jake Berkeley (Johnny Whitworth) will be back on the episode “Going Going Gone” set to air November 20th.

First, we have to wonder if the episode title is a play off the previous one he appeared in. And second, we know Calleigh gets a boyfriend this season.

And the best reason to believe this spoiler? Writer/Producer Marc Dube had this to say:

And last, but not least, let’s not forget there’s a new potential boyfriend for Calleigh Dusquesne, and he’s played by Johnny Whitworth. There’s chemistry, folks. Stay tuned.

Everything points to hottie Jake being “The One”!

Reba gets its season premiere date from the CW

Wednesday, November 1st, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com
reba.jpg
After looking for a while that Reba might not be back after the WB turned into the CW, then being turned into a midseason replacement series that might not see the new episodes air until 2007, The CW has decided to begin airing the new season of Reba this month. Fans will remember that Reba was the best rated show on the WB for its first five seasons it aired.

The sixth season will premiere on November 19th at 7pm (which always strikes me as an odd hour to air first-run episodes of any series) with two back to back episodes. Then the following week, it will air a repeat of the previous week’s episode at 7pm, then airing a new episode at 7:30, which would then go as the lead-in for 7th Heaven.

Reba stars Reba McEntire (Reba Hart), Mitch Holleman (Jake Hart), Melissa Peterman (Barbra Jean Booker Hart), Joanna Garcia (Cheyenne Hart-Montgomery), Christopher Rich (Dr. Brock Hart), Steve Howey (Van Montgomery) and Scarlett Pomers (Kyra Hart).

Wednesday, November 1st, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Scrubs will premiere on November 30th at 9pm on NBC. Unfortunately, that is the toughest time slot of the week, airing against Grey’s Anatomy, The O.C., CSI and Supernatural. OUCH!

Wednesday, November 1st, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Mark Deklin, whom Justice fans will remember as Dr. Matthew Shaw, is joining the cast of ABC’s Desperate Housewives. He arrives just in time for November sweeps, and will be on tap for at least three shows.

He will play a handsome widower and will play Gabrielle’s latest love interest, but those are the only details the show is releasing at the moment. His first airdate is November 26th.

Isn’t it great when a show has great male eye candy for us ladies to enjoy?

The two hour season premiere will air Wednesday, November 15th from 9-11pm. It will air at its regular timeslot the following week on Wednesdays, 10-11pm.
